FOR SALE: 2002 Honda VFR-800 Interceptor
Looking for a quick sale, so the price is lower than anything similar you'll find online.
Clean title, second owner.
Selling my trusty 2002 VFR 800 / Interceptor, the third Honda V4 that I've owned and loved. It was set up for touring/track use by the original owner but I've mostly used it for freeway commuting.
Custom features include:custom front and rear suspension from Lindemann Engineering (revalved front forks and springs, Penske rear shock with remote reservoir)
Staintune underseat exhaust (never needs re-packing since it doesn't use fiberglas batting)
Heli bar-risers (+1.5")
carbon fiber rear wheel hugger, (NWS)
taillight modulator (Wig-Wag)
aftermarket dual Hella horns (hella commanding)
GIVI top case rack (V47 topcase is negotiable)
Replaced recently:chain and sprockets (about 3k miles ago)
front tire (Michelin Pilot Road 4, about 3k miles ago)
battery (brand new AGM)
CA registration paid through Oct 2020

You'll see some rash on the left side in the photos, from a low-side where Islipped the rear on loose gravel leaving a Stop (mind was not engaged, first baby due the next day);some minor right side damage from a drivewaytipover; crease in the tank when the bike leaned away from me in the garage and rested on the tank against the edge of a wall. I opted not to fix it as a reminder to stay focused, but have adjusted price accordingly.
This bike is fun and comfortable and runs strong.

I have all my maintenance records including regular oil changes, owner's manual, and model-specific Honda service manual. Also have the original suspension parts.
