My midlife crisis is your gain. I just purchased a 1250GS for my 50th, otherwise I would still be riding this baby every day.
This bike is essentially free because I have invested about $5,000 in new parts and repairs on it within the past 14 months.
I'm the second owner, bought her with 23k miles on the clock at the end of 2013.
Clean title, never crashed, well maintained (serviced every 6k miles), runs great.
Price: $4900
Title: clean
Condition: very good
Miles: 88,069
The Good:
Bill Mayer seat front and rear (last year) $400
New Tourance Next tires (couple months) $500
New Clutch and Drive Shaft (last year): $4,000 done at Cal Moto in Mountain View at 80K miles in May 2018
Huge windscreen that offers superior protection but still allows airflow
Heated Grips
Engine Guards
Alt Rider Rear Rack
Givi Trekker Outback Mounting Hardware
Haynes Service and Repair Manual
OEM REP ROM Interactive DVD (shop manual)
JVB Production Maintenance DVDs (very easy to follow instructions on all regularly scheduled maintenance procedures)
The Bad:
There are a couple of cosmetic blemishes:
Windscreen was cracked and repaired by me (not pretty but functional)
Front cowl has a few scratches
Left front turn signal scratched
Givi Monokey 55 Liter Top Case (integrated lights don't work and one of the lenses is detached but is fully functional otherwise)
