up for sale is the very rare IWC Vintage Pilot ref. IW325401.
It was originally released in 2008 as part of the Vintage Collection line to celebrate IWC's 140th anniversary.
It is the reissue of IWC's very first pilot's watch, the 'Spezialuhr fr Flieger' from 1936.
This piece has a diameter of 44mm and quite a slim profile of 12mm.
It houses the large and beautifully decorated IWC in-house caliber 98300---a low beat pocket watch movement with the famous 'F.A Jones Arrow' fine adjustment index. 18000 vph and 46 hr power reserve.
The watch was originally purchased in 2011 and it just had a complete service done by IWC. It will be under IWC warranty for the coming 2 years.
I will include a copy of the service paper.
The case is very clean with just a few light marks here and there. The movement is extremely smooth and creamy to wind up.
I don't notice any mark on the sapphire glass front & back. The hands are brand new as part of the service.
I will include the original strap, but it is quite worn. The watch is currently on an IWC style, chocolate LVMH alligator strap handmade by Peter from Watchacc. I will also include a RIOS1931 'Hurricane' alligator strap in Cognac.
The watch comes with the presentation box (a few marks here and there from sitting in the storage over the years), the warranty card & booklet, handbook, and polishing cloth.
My price for this piece is $5100 shipped & Paypal'ed. US sale only.
Thanks for looking.
