The time has finally come for me to part with my beloved Rolex Explorer. I purchased it from Chase at Nashville Watch 2.5 years ago. It was not only my first luxury timepiece, but my first real watch. It's been on my wrist for so many occasions, if for no other reason than it's one of the cleanest, most versatile watches I've ever seen. That being said, here are the details:
I bought it sans box or papers, though it's been looked at by RSC NY when I purchased an additional link. It's no safe queen, and definitely has 2.5 yrs of assorted wear: small scratches on the bezel, swirls and light scratches on the case sides, and a scratch on the clasp. All of this could be brought back to mint condition by polishing if desired, but I buy my watches to wear. It does have the beautiful Mk1 dial with white gold Arabic numerals. I'll of course add more detailed pictures when I get it out of storage tomorrow, but for now you can see how gorgeous it looks on my wrist.
In light of the condition and lack of box and papers, I'm pricing this at $4800 net, including shipping CONUS. This is likely the cheapest way to get into a modern Rolex professional model.
I have plenty of feedback on here as well as in other areas. Feel free to contact me for any references or if you have questions. Please don't waste my time with lowball offers, as I'm truly in no rush to sell.
